The firm I didn't know anything about, till now.

I was allocated the Company Called 'Dubber'. To be honest, never heard of it before. I scrolled through the list of company's many of my fellow classmates in this unit received as well, and i didn't know many of them either. So I knew to some knowledge I wasn't alone in learning about a New firm that I had recollection about before hand.

First thing I did was to search into google, 'What is Dubber Corporation?', and that's where my journey continued for ACCT11059 Assessment 1.

Dubber is a Cloud based corporation that is used in recording calls, videos, meetings, and other social channels in any location. This helps gain insights after this channels have been conducted, to play back and gain this awareness.

Dubber is powered online through sophisticated capture and AI capabilities. To me personally this is just continuously showing me how our world is evolving into a world where AI will be taking over many things around us, thus force Dubber uses AI to help operate and interact with their customers.

Reading through Dubber's Financial statements would mostly likely the first time I have ever laid eyes on one, let alone read one. So to say I was a little confused would of a been an underestimate. But after watching few of the lectures and Maria's helpful video of the entering our financial statements into excel, made me feel a bit more confident.

I think the main point of what stood out too me while reading through their 'about' page was how Dubber actually came about. Three friends who were working with an Australian Service Provider at the time, were enjoying a few beverages at the time, where the idea came forth, of the realisation of how expensive it is to record conversations and equally how much labour was involved to retrieve the data. At this point they saw the opportunity to build the entire global-scale platform through a cloud-naive base.

Now I didn't want to bore you all on the firm I was given as we all have our own we should be concentrating own so I hope to some extent that you are now acquainted to Dubber.
